We all know that wrestling is best when a creative team sits down and works out a long-term story with a satisfying ending.

It makes us feel warm and fuzzy in our tum-tums.

Of course, because the world of sports entertainment is totally nuts, sometimes what happens is whoever is in charge goes,

ha ha! I've got a better idea, and even though that match is about to happen, we're going to change it.

Obviously, this was a common story when Vince McMahon was in charge, but there are some doozies.

This is 10 times WW Creative changed a match on the fly.

Number 10, Daniel Bryan's Cashin.

When the big show first arrived in the WW in 1999, he was indeed presented like a giant.

Word has always been, Vince McMahon had said, I know how to use this guy from WCW, and he did for a little bit.

I mean, by 2002, he had been a world champion twice. The thing is, after that, he did get relegated to

basically being an attraction, and the WWE didnW.E. didn't consider him for another

run with the Big Belt until 2011. No, I'm not counting that ECW reign. That's just how my brain

works. He started a rivalry with Mark Henry over the world heavyweight championship, which was

big men, second man meat. And after trying to dethrone Mark at Vengeant Survivor Series 2011,

he totally failed. It meant we got dethrone Mark at Vengeant Survivor Series 2011, he totally failed.

It meant we got to a chairs match at TLC where the big show finally defeated the world's strongest man, and all of a sudden somebody popped up with their money in the bank briefcase

and flubbed me sideways, it was Daniel Bryan. Now, of course, this came after Mark Henry

had attacked the Big Show after the match, but

according to the Wrestling Observer newsletter, Vince McMahon had originally planned to put the title on

Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 28 or the elimination chamber, but then just changed his mind at

TLC instead.
