and kind of talking about it in a video, but not all of it, because that would defeat

the purpose of the book.

So yes, anyway, back on track, this is the 10 biggest secrets behind The Rise of AEW,

Number 10, Those Rocky Moments As people are quick to remind me all the

time, I didn't hate certain foibles that AEW had in the early going, like the nightmare,

collective, and everything we did originally with the Dark Order, I like to look on the

bright side of life, but apparently that makes me an asshole.

You also had that thing where Cody Rose and Chris Jericho were kind of doing the authority

figure versus the face of the company, but I just thought this was a brand new promotion

trying to find their way, and now as I stand here in 2021, I think that's kind of how

it worked out.

I saw these weren't high points for the promotion, but given they did open their ears and

given they did listen to the audience and given that they did change tact, all of a sudden

they started to find their own voice and their own personality, which basically brings

us up to speed.

Cody kind of others even come at interviews and said, oh yeah, we made a little bit of
