2026 is here and following another hefty 12 months of major wrestling promotions, throwing releases all over the place, left, right and centre.

The market is absolutely flush with free agent talent who can make a difference for wherever they chose to land.

Obviously, the first century on this list is no surprise if you're looking over my shoulder right now.

There's a lot of interesting options to explore whether they go to WWE, A.W. TNA, Japan, Mexico, the

Indies, wherever. Some of these probably won't ever wrestle again. But hey, they're big names,

and if they did get picked up, they would probably leave a big impact. I'm Andy from What Culture Wrestling, and here are the 10 hottest free agents in wrestling in 2026.

Starting with number 10, Carrying Cross and Scarlet, because they come as a double act.

He was one of the more controversial WW releases of the last year.

There was a big clamour for him to have a bigger role in the company prior to his departure.

It never materialised and WWE eventually opted to let him go.

According to Cross himself on Aerell Halwani's show, they lowballed him,

gave him a very short window to sign the new contract and then when he said, I don't know, I want to negotiate this, they kind of pulled the whole thing. So since then, he's not gone to AEW or TNA or anything like that. I mean, he might be in one of those companies at the time this video comes out. There's a little bit of a gap between recording and publishing on this one. However, I think the likeliest landing spot for carrying cross TNA he's been there before he was killer

cross there before and he could give it another run around for sure look TNA

has just got the new TV deal it kicks in on the in mid-January they'll be

looking for people who they can add to the roster to make an impact pardon the

pun make a splash for them.

I think Carrying Cross or Killer Cross, whatever he's going to go by fits the bill, bring Scarlett along as well. His ad is stronger than it was back then and I think he'd fare very well there. Probably get pushed as a main event or pretty much from day one, so it's a great spot for him. Number nine, Shana Bazlerler, who has kept something of a low profile since leaving WWE this year. At the time of recording, she's had about four or five different indie matches. I watched her wrestle Danny Luna for prestige earlier this year, and it was an absolutely tremendous, I mean, it's free on YouTube. If you want to watch it, you can find it quite easy. Just type in Danny Luna versus Shana Bezler. Great hard hitting match. Sheena can still go.

But there has been some questions over, you know, WWE coaching and stuff like that.

She's been at the performance center helping out with classes and producing things like that.

So maybe that's where her aspirations lie. Maybe Shana Beasler would rather be involved behind the scenes than in front of the cameras these days. Although I will say that the most of her indie matches have taken place in the past couple of months. So maybe she's just ramping up the schedule now. When it comes to Shana, I mean, she's one of my favorite women's wrestlers. I think she's absolutely tremendous. She's a total badass. She plays Warhammer and listens to Boltfroar. I mean, you can't really complain about that. And she's one of the most believable and authentic ass kickers in the game. I think that if she were to go to a different promotion, like in AEW, she would fit like a glove immediately. But she could also go back to

Japan where she was previously. She's toured with stardom and just, you know, that kind of

wrestling culture and that fan base really appreciates the authenticity and the more MMA
