Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Global Brief edition of The Wright Report, Bryan reports that Cuba's communist regime is running on fumes as Mexico cuts off oil shipments under pressure from President Trump, pushing Havana into its deepest crisis in decades and accelerating what appears to be a serious U.S. push for regime change.

Bryan then turns to Ukraine, where President Trump delivers a blunt peace ultimatum to both Zelenskyy and Putin, while U.S. pressure on Russian oil sales begins to show real impact. He also reveals how the U.S. military seized another ghost-fleet tanker carrying Venezuelan oil bound for China, tightening the squeeze on Beijing, Moscow, Tehran, and Caracas.

The episode closes with a stark look at China's global behavior, from the persecution of Christians to the environmental and security threat posed by its massive illegal fishing fleet, followed by encouraging medical research showing that coffee consumption may significantly reduce dementia risk.

Hey, good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to The Right Report, Your Daily News, podcast.

0:22.0

I've got a global brief for you this morning, lots of international news with domestic tie-ins

0:26.4

that, as ever, are still shaping America and the world. We begin this morning with Cuba,

0:32.2

a nation folks, that is teetering on the edge. Bloomberg News reports that Mexico and his president,

0:38.2

Claudia Scheimbaum, are confirming some big news. They will not ship any more oil to that fuel-starved

0:44.2

communist island. And without it, and with nothing coming from Venezuela either,

0:48.4

the regime in Havana is, if you pardon upon, running on fumes. President Scheinbaum

0:53.7

confirmed yesterday that she is

0:55.3

heeding the advice of President Trump and stopping all fuel delivery to Cuba in order to, quote,

1:00.7

avoid any negative impact on Mexico, end quote. She is quite clearly referring there to Trump's

1:06.7

tariffs, as he said, he would slap them on anybody that would sell oil to that island.

1:11.5

You might remember that was announced about two weeks ago.

1:14.3

Well, Scheinbaum is responding, now leaving Havana with just a trickle of oil coming from Russia.

1:20.0

This is all part of President Trump's effort to squeeze Marxism out of not just Cuba, but also Venezuela,

1:25.1

and really the entirety of Central and South America. And so far,

1:29.2

it's working. The question, though, is what this looks like with Cuba and how quickly it might

1:34.6

happen. So beyond Mexico's mega announcement yesterday, we also had this Air Canada announced

1:40.2

yesterday that they're suspending their commercial airline service to the island, which is also a big deal. You may recall my briefs on the fact that Canadian tourists are a major

1:48.8

source of hard currency for that regime. So all in, yesterday was a bad day for the Communist Party

1:54.6

in Cuba. They're in crisis mode this morning. The worst that they have been experiencing,

1:59.3

I would argue, in decades.
