During an interview with Daily Mail to promote the Bash in Berlin event, Kevin Owens had some

interesting words about his relationship with CM Punk and and claim they were not friends.

Owens stated that they had no reason to talk unless they had to work with each other in

the future.

And while Owens' comments might seem straightforward, some fans can't help but recognize

a bit of resentment that Owens might hold towards the punker.

While the two have never competed against each other,

they did work under the same roof during their time in Ring of Honor. When Owens started in

R-O-H around 2005, CM Punk was already a prominent member of the roster and a locker room

leader and trainer. Punk reportedly had some problems with the fact that Kevin was wrestling

in a t-shirt. punk wanted Owens to compete

in a singlet, and when the word got out to the latter, he wore a singlet in one of his matches.

When he got to the back, he reportedly said to Punk, are you happy now? Which resulted in a brief
