We'll start with this great bit of innovation, and that is ChargePoint's Omni port,

a universal solution for EV charging.

Well, as the EV industry moves towards adopting Tesla's so-called North American charging standard,

really J-3400 is what we should call it now that it is under that name.

However, drivers are accustomed to using the charging system CCS1 in North America

might worry about compatibility or even having to carry their own adapter around with them.

Well, ChargePoint just announced a new solution with its Omniport, a DC fast charger compatible

with both Nax and CCS. The system allows any EV to connect directly with their charges, simplifying the charging process.

Obviously, Nissan Leaf owners with Chathamokin look away now, but for everyone else, this applies.

Tesla has already introduced a similar technology.

It's called Magic Doc, which has been deployed in about 100 supercharger locations across the United States.
