Hello and welcome to the Monday October 30th, 2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast.

My name is Rob Maurer. Today we have a guest on the show

Diego. He's coming to us from Oregon and Diego recently made the decision to install

solar panels on his house and he went with Tesla so I thought there was some

interesting information that he had to share on that,

which will hop into in a minute.

Tesla stock on Friday closed out a tough week with another tough day, finishing down 1.62% to $320.87,

as compared to the NasdaqDAQ up 2.2.

That was mainly driven by the earnings reports from Amazon and Google being well received.

Amazon stock was up 13% and Google stock was up 4%. On the week Tesla was down 7.54 percent compared to the

NASDAQ up 0.94 percent as we look ahead to earnings this week. As a reminder

those are after the market close on Wednesday. Wednesday morning I will have a preview episode

on things that I'm going to be looking for.

to discuss everything that we learn in the earnings report.

Supercharger network update, we are currently at 1,036 supercharging locations

adding two new stations in Belgium and New Zealand. So today we're just going to spend a little bit of time going into

pretty significant detail on Tesla Solar and kind of the installation process

as well as kind of the bidding process that a customer may need to go through when working with

Tesla to install Solar.

This was something I was interested in because I don't know a ton about solar and certainly not about installing it.

So being that solar city is newly integrated to Tesla and Tesla is now starting to manufacture and sell solar panels, I wanted to spend more time digging into it.
