I want to make it official, having lived in Pensacola, Florida

seven years, and then living in North Carolina, 10 years, I want to say that I have become a

cold weather wimp. When we flew into LaGuardia Airport last night in New York City and arrived probably a little

bit past midnight and went to get the rental car, it was bitterly.

Now, I know it's cold for everybody, but I have not been handling the cold as well as I

remembered handling it years ago,

but I'm thrilled to be on the island right now,

looking forward to a few great days on Long Island, Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Manhattan.
