So Norlander, the big news of the day, a report commissioned by the University of North Carolina

says school academic advisors steered athletes, including basketball players in the

sham classes over an 18-year period.

But the report did not directly implicate any coaches or athletic administrators in the

scheme.

One important thing to point out, given that this is the Ion College basketball podcast,

they do acknowledge that 10 of the 15 players on the 2005 North Carolina National Championship

team, coached by Roy Williams, were AFAM majors, which of course is the department that had

all of the paper classes.
