1:13.8	The A's had the majority but did not meet the 60 vote threshold needed. And with that, the federal
1:19.3	government partially shut down at midnight. Two Democrats joined the Senate's 53 Republicans in voting yes on a clean stopgap funding bill.
1:29.0	That would have extended the current government funding until just before Thanksgiving.
1:32.9	Democratic Senator Chris Coons voted no.
