I would love to start by for people who don't already know you, never heard of Gen Hat Maker.

Will you tell us a little bit about your history, your career so far?

I am an interesting career person because I am not at all in the career that I planned on being in.

When I went into college, I said education.

I had no idea exactly what I wanted to do.

I was sort of near my lane, but not in it because I still teach, but I teach a completely different set of people now.

So I was I took fourth grade and and then I just had like a zillion babies all in about five days.

And so I was staying home and just raising all these little and there was this sort of just nagging,

annoying idea in the back of my head because I always loved to write.

I loved it. I'm a big time reader.

I'm a big time writer, but I just did it.

You know, I just I remember asking Brandon, my husband, this is a job to people write for a living.

It's that thing at a really absurd time.

I mean, truly, truly on a full errand when my kids were one, three and five.

Oh my gosh.

I wrote a book.

...
