Hey everybody welcome back to Advice, a podcast where my best friend Alex and I give you guys advice on absolutely everything.

Also we call it advice because it's not quite advice, well it is advice but like we're not professionals you know what I mean?

Pretty much we're gonna be giving you advice on anything from heartbreak to how to land your dream job, how to deal with strict parents,

just everything across the board, we just want to be your older sisters.

And the following episode that week we want you guys to tell your stories or ask us any questions that you have regarding that last topic we talked about.

So yeah this is my best friend Alex. Hey everybody and we've been best friends for 15, 16 years, 2005 and it's 2020.

Yeah 15 years. We've been best friends for 15 years and I knew I wanted to start a podcast and I didn't know what I wanted to start it about but I knew I wanted to help people.

And I asked Alex one day I was like what would a good podcast be like what's something you feel like I'm good talking about because I just didn't know.

The first thing I came up with or that popped in my head was advice because you're obviously the first person I go to.

Yeah I'm one of the first people you go to.

We go through the same things in life but you and I are very different but we're very similar so we kind of tackle all of our challenges.

With like two perspectives.

Yeah two very different perspectives but we kind of always want the same end goal so I feel like we we have a good perspective as a whole on things so we just kind of want to answer questions and help everybody out.

For sure I feel like maybe we're a little bias here but we we come from such different backgrounds different childhoods different views on different things.

And I knew I like once I knew I want to do it in a vice podcast I was like I can't do this alone I only have one perspective and if I actually want to help people I want to give them as many perspectives as possible.

Obviously I can't have a podcast with a million hosts but I'll give you two hosts with different perspectives and hopefully we can find a happy medium.

And this week we figured it be a good idea to talk about our originities stories.

You're burping I'm gonna be here literally picking stuff out of my teeth guys we just we just slammed a good like 16 ounces of hummus.

I made I make homemade hummus so easy I it's easy it was such like a good it had such a good tang to it I did I put a whole lemon in it that's what it was I put a whole lemon.

Garlic olive oil paprika salt pepper and chickpeas and all I said olive oil already oh my god it's so good but yeah I feel like like if you guys can smell three feet of air between us right now it's homicid.

It's a homicid homicid season it's pretty bad right now but um god but you made it it's it's so good.

I have a song stuck in my head from I've probably listened to about three times today what's it called purple hat purple hat has anybody heard this purple hat by what's the name.
