Over the past couple of searchlight programs, we have been looking at a story involving

the Ark of the Covenant.

This is the box that represented to Israel the presence of the Lord.

Israel had made a mistake and brought the Ark into battle,

wrongly thinking that this box would save them.

What they should have done is sought the God that is represented by the box.

Not only did they lose the battle, but the Philistines captured ark. This was not a smart move for

them as the Philistines were plagued by the ark and sent it back to Israel. In our

Israel is trying to figure out what to do with the art.

As we pick up the story, Pastor John is finishing some thoughts
