Over a third of baby boomers who own their homes say they're never going to sell.

So I sent this article to you because one of the major issues that we are now facing in our society,

and we're seeing this both in the employment sector and now the housing sector is the economy is sort of stuck.

And what I mean by that is because the cost of living has gotten so expensive that a lot of

older people are staying in the workforce. And when they stay in the workforce, there's nowhere

for the new generation to elevate up to, right?

It's like us trying to get into those bars last night.

You know, like the line is so long, you got to get somebody to leave the bar so that somebody else can go in so that you can keep moving forward.

Right.

And in the case of the economy, when these older, more experienced people stay in,

it makes it harder to elevate.

The same thing is true with housing.

And what you're seeing with housing is older people, because, and you've got a parent that

was this way.

A lot of times older people will sell their homes.

They'll move to some sort of community

or, you know, where they cut the grass for you or whatever downsize. But because the price of money

is so expensive now that most older people have owned their houses for so long, or they've owned

them free or clear or the mortgages they have are much lower than the mortgages we're seeing today.

Yep.

There's a huge financial downside, as long as people can take care of themselves, to move,

move out of that house.
