Today we have a certified ADHD coach. It's Steve Hodgson. How are you?

Dave, I'm great. Thanks for having me on the program today. Yeah, I'm so excited. You're going to be

my first guest of the new year after reality, Steve. But I mean, New Year, New Year's resolutions,

talking to an ADHD coach. I feel like this in the modern world of short form content, are ADHD's going crazy.

So how did you get into this world of ADHD coaching?

Yeah, no, thanks for asking.

So I am someone, despite my youthful appearance, I'm old. I'm in my 50s now. So I got my ADHD

diagnosis kind of later in life. And it was something, once I did get the diagnosis, it made sense.

It's something I knew I've had. I can point back to things, you know, when I was in grade

school and it makes sense.

So when I got my diagnosis, the first thing they did was I got my diagnosis and then they said,

here you go, here's your prescription for Adderall.

And I thought, okay, great, this is going to solve all my problems.

And they said, yeah, we'll see in about six to eight weeks.

You know, good luck. So I go home and I take the ad, I get ready to take the Adderall. I'm literally, I get the prescription filled. I'm literally sitting there the night before.

And they always tell you to take it like when you're taking a stimulant,

take it first thing in the morning. So I get ready to take it around 9 o'clock the next morning,

but literally I'm telling you, Dave, this is the crazy thing about how pharmaceuticals and

companies can do this is I'm literally sitting there the night before thinking,
