Chat away in the chat room amongst each other. I can't respond. But we had to do this.

I won't get into the reasons why, but we did. Anyhow, it's today. It's from today. In fact,

it's from a couple of hours when we normally would be starting. So no big deal there. And we didn't not want to have a conversation about or a

continuing conversation about the topic de jour, right? The whole thing.

Florida State situation now that ESPN exercised their option to extend their agreement with the

ACC.

The discussion has centered around what does it mean?

What's going to come out next is in regards to Florida State's future.

There is certainly an awful lot of doom and gloom surrounding some of this.

And I engaged in that yesterday, not deflecting there.

A lot of it had to do with if we don't get this, if we don't hear this, if we don't learn this, then dot, dot, dot, we've got very real problems with the situation Fortistae finds themselves in now in this league, a lesser tier league,

far less money, far less notoriety, far less in the way of positioning for primetime

games, consideration for the postseason in the playoff. If you're a bubble team,

for lack of a better term, and you're out of the ACC, you do not

certainly get the benefit of the doubt the way that schools in the SEC and Big Ten will moving

forward. You're at a recruiting disadvantage the longer you stay in the ACC. These are all very real

concerns. These are not overblown conversations, wrought with hyperbole.

This is not something to kind of spur listeners and readers of warchant.com and anything like that.
