From box truck in Southern California desert after their owner mysteriously died, leaving the birds trapped inside.

L.A. County animal care and control officers were called the Palmdale on Wednesday after the California Highway Patrol discovered the mallards packed inside the truck, possibly ready for slaughter.

They didn't, they didn't rescue them for anything, for anything, rescued them to get killed.

I guess you eat duck, right?

Officials said the owner of the truck was found dead. And the destination of the true owner of the mallards could not be determined. Maybe they were saved. Right. In that sense, they rescued them. Well, they certainly rescued them from just, you know, starving or cooking to death out in the California desert. I got it. We're going to rescue you. Now we're going to kill you. And they probably took them to some sort of, you know, shelter. Honestly, if they said they don't know who the, you know, the true owner and the destination of the ducks was to be. That's true. All the ducks were removed from the truck and taken to animal care centers where they're now being

monitored.

Well, how about the ducks?

Maybe the ducks murdered the driver.
