The death of Hassan Nas Rala, the spiritual and or a rhetorical leader of Hezbollah, a terrorist organization

organized as one of the largest armies in military organizations on the planet.

The leader is gone, so is a lot of the chain of command.

And the question is, what happens next on the battlefields of North Israel and Southern Lebanon.

However, Bill Rajo, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy, is here as my colleague and co-host because we're very

very pleased to have a former ambassador from Pakistan of the United States now

at the Hudson Institute, Hossena Connie, who has been in the world of diplomatic conversation, of State

Departments and Foreign Ministries, dealing with what happens on the battlefield, anticipating

worse possible, and expecting better days, both

going back and forth. And Mr. Ambassador, it's a pleasure to welcome you because

now is the moment we can't hear what they're saying behind

those closed doors in the foreign ministries across the UMA we can't hear the

State Department responding to requests for clarity from its allies in Europe.

What do you, and the UN of course is gathering, gathered last week, the General Assembly is back in motion. So what is your

assessment of the reaction to Nasrallah's death and the what you'd have to say

this easily is the turmoil in Lebanon good day to you good day and as I see

it it's the end of one era but probably the beginning of another. The question is will the

Israelis and the United States and other Israeli friends and allies build something out of it that will be different from the past. Let us remember Israel won one war in the 1980s.

That was the war against the Palestinians who were using Lebanon as their base at that time and they won it.

The Palestinians were driven out.
