to help me understand how Europe is hearing a political dispute in the United States.

In these last hours, the US Senate has refused so far

to permit the funding request from the Biden administration for package of for Ukraine, for Israel, and for the

border. This turns on domestic politics, but at the same time it's heard in Europe as a hesitation.

Does that have significance for Europe's response to Ukraine going into the new year?

Does it mean that Europe will dig deeper into its own pockets or begin to think that Russia is succeeding and therefore time to deal?
