I'm John Bachelor, Ukraine conflict, nuclear weapons, nuclear energy

The stories spill out in all directions, but right now we have President Biden's remark

of a real danger of nuclear weapons being used in the conflict.

At the same time we have reports, according to Moscow and Kiev, that there is accusation

going back and forth about using the Zapparition Nuclear Power Plant as a nuclear catastrophe.

There are also reports about Lukashenko, the dictator of Belarus, claiming or giving out ambiguous

remarks that he, as well as Putin, have access or codes or some kind of official registration

with nuclear weapons said to be deployed by Russia to Belarus.

That I remind you is the NATO frontier, Poland and Belarus, and Lithuania are contiguous.

However, we turn to a discussion I'm told is underway in Moscow TV and Russian TV, and

I welcome Anatol Liven of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, he is in the UK.

And he can help me understand how the question of nuclear weapons, nuclear energy, nuclear

catastrophe is being debated in Russia.
