This is CBSI on the world. I'm John Batchel. Bill Rajo, Senior Fellow Foundation for the Defense

of Democracies, joins me as my colleague and co-host, and we're very welcoming to John Hardy of

the FD, who watches the Ukrainian crisis for us across the whole of the European front. But we're going

to begin with the news of these last days about missiles, rockets, ICBMs, attack them's,

a confusion of weapons platforms. John, a very good evening to you. My understanding is that the U.S.

vouchsafed the use of the Tackham platform for long range striking into Mother Russia.

At the same time, my information is that the equivalent cruise missile from Britain called the Storm Shadow has been approved for use.

There is something called, the French have a version of it.

All of those missiles have not been used in this fashion for the nearly three years of war

and are now available to be used.

The Russians have responded in some fashion with statements,

but also firing an ICBM hypersonic missile into Ukraine.

Is all that correct, John? Good evening to you.

Hey, John. Hey, Bill. Thanks for having me back on the show. So the Russians did respond to

the attack-ums strike, or at least after the attack-mstrike, the Russians launched an immune

missile called the Ereschnik. It's not exactly an ICBM. It's an IRBM. So intermediate

range, ballistic missile on the city of NEPRO, and Ukraine.

Still a lot unknown about the missile, but it's based on a missile the Russians were previously

developing but dropped for cost-saving reasons called the RS-26.

So it seemed the, the Eur, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the Russianic either had conventional

or more likely dummy warheads.

Um, and, and so basically, it's still being developed, but, but Putin says it will go

...
