John, thank you. It's great to be with you. I found at Spirit of America 20 years ago,

motivated by the attacks of 9-11, and I had a simple idea, which was to do what I could do and

what other citizens could do to stand up for what America stands for in the world. And America

is the beacon of freedom and democracy in the world. American leadership is important to people

throughout the world, and the world is a better and safer place because of America. So after

the attacks of 9-11, I wanted to do something to stand up for what America stands for.
