The Wall Street Journal, Taiwan's Vice President plans stop in the US at a delicate moment.

The Biden administration trying to head off trouble with China, reads the report, over

a US visit by Taiwan's Vice President.

The man's name is Lai.

He is the leading candidate in the presidential election upcoming.

He's on his way to Paraguay to return the visit of the President-elect of Paraguay who

visited Taipei recently.

This provocation, called China, this diplomatic courtesy, as the United States, is part of

the dialogue going on right now, roughly between Beijing and Washington, over the threats

to Taiwan.

And I welcome Mark Montgomery, rear-adrenable Mark Montgomery, United States Navy, retired

at the foundation for the defensive democracy.

Not only to talk about the politics of this, a man passing through the United States on

his way to Paraguay is the centerpiece of a lot of squawking out of Beijing, but also

over these last days and weeks, repeated provocations by the PLA Navy and Air Force against

Taiwan, against the US, against our ally Japan.

First the provocation, the Chinese don't need to find an excuse for their complaints.

However, what I'm keen on is how the US Navy and the Taiwanese Navy and Air Force, and

now the Japan Navy and Japan Air Force are handling all this before we get into the specifics.
