Joined by my good friend and colleague, Malcolm Holine, Conference of President's major

American Jewish organization, Syria. The man to watch is Abou Mahamma Jalani, Annam de Gar.

He's a Syrian national. However, his background

as he parades around the streets of Damascus to the cheers of his soldiers as well as the

Damascus citizens. His background suggests jihadist. His appearance, however, suggests

Fidel Castro in Havana in 1959, a bearded man in some

kind of green fatigues. However, we know that he's a veteran of al-Qaeda, having joined a training

camp in Afghanistan as a young man. He is also a veteran of ISIS and has identified with Baghdadi and swore allegiance to Baghdadi.

He's also in some fashion in conversation with Turkish state security, secret police in some fashion.
