I welcome Thaddeus McCutter, my colleague, American Greatness,

and we welcome Andrew McCarthy of the National Review Online, guiding us to the trials of Donald Trump.

It's been going on for years.

Probably, I believe that it will continue for years, but at this point there are some facts

that we can hold on to, given that the election is behind us.

Your piece on National Review Online reminded me because I'd forgotten everything about Judge

Merchant and the 34 counts of business records falsification in Manhattan, a case often referred

to as creative in some fashion.

There was to be a sentencing.

It didn't happen.

Why not?

Well, we're a ways away from a sentencing, John,

because there's some important proceedings

that have to be dealt with before you could get to the point of sentencing the now president-elect.

So it's worth, I think, correcting a couple of misimpressions.

For example, in the election rhetoric, and this is perfectly understandable for political rhetoric, even if it's technically

legally incorrect. President-elect Trump is not a convicted felon. He has been found guilty by a jury,
