In these last days, we've been guided to believe that the imminent assault on Rafa is delayed because of humanitarian exigencies.

This is the evacuation of the perhaps one million people who have traversed all of the Gaza Strip from the north and

communists to the south. I am unaware of the status of that evacuation. However,

Rafa is clearly the last battle for Hamas.

The assumption is the tunnel system beneath Rafa

is at least as extensive as what's been discovered before Gaza City and Khan Yunus.

So these next days are a challenge to everyone.

The timeline is that you highlight are the hostages. So right now the mission is to destroy

the ability of Hamas to wage war and to free the hostages. Are those

understood as simultaneous missions one at a time?
