The juror number two in cinemas now book tickets hello and welcome uh this is a new podcast that we're calling The Album Years. I am Stephen Wilson and my co-host of these podcasts is going to be Mr. Timothy Boness, my long-term partner in the pop sensation that is no man.

Occasionally we make some music of our own, but generally speaking, we talk about other people's music, don't we? That's what kind of, I think it's fair to say that we, you know,

it's the thing that we love to talk about more than anything else is as music nerds,

if you like, is the history of music music and we're also nerds in the sense

we love the context so we love to know exactly when something was released and where it came in

the particular career trajectory of an artist and all that stuff the only nerds are interested in

so this is basically a show for nerds. And we've called it the album years,

because what we're going to do is we're going to focus on one year per episode. And we're

going to talk about albums that were released during that year, not necessarily recorded that

year, but they must have been released between January the 1st and December the 31st of that year.
