Today's expression is very good.

It is the sweet spot.

The sweet spot.

S-W-E-E-T, like sugar is sweet.

Spot, S-P-O-T.

In this case, spot means place.

So the sweet spot, hmm, does that mean the sugar place?

Well, kind of.

We use this expression especially in sports.

So if you play tennis or racquetball or baseball,

then you know that sometimes you need to hit the ball or in badminton D shuttlecock.

And the racket or a bat, but we'll talk about, let's talk about tennis.

Okay, the tennis racket is round, right?

So if you hit the ball anywhere on the racket is it good no no actually actually you need to

hit the ball right in the center i think of the racket and that is the best place for the racket to hit the ball. And that place is the sweet

spot. That's the sweet spot. Now, we actually use this expression in other situations, too.
