and the AMG version, working on their second all-electric vehicle, a full-size SUV, because everything these days is an SUV.

Scheduled for unveiling in 26 after the release of a fastback model.

The new SUV, however, a thousand horsepower and be on AMG's own electric vehicle platform, AMG.EA.

The first model using the platform is an electric version of the AMG GT, four-door fastback.

A teaser image has already been shown of the sporty design with a roofline that slopes down towards the back,

like a coupe-style SUV, the Lotus Elektra, for instance, Mercedes-Benz AMG,

emphasizing that this SUV will prioritize performance with its electric features.

The AMG EA platform will be developed independently by AMG,

meaning it won't share parts with other Mercedes-Benz, electric vehicles,

on different platforms.

The architecture will be an 800-volt system for fast charging

and efficient performance with lightweight axial flux electric motors. I told you many times on

the podcast in the past about the Mercedes-Benz investment in things like axial flux electric motors,

500 horsepower and 600 pound feet of torque as a minimum, a dual

motor version. We get a thousand horsepower and a trimotor version could exceed 1,500 horsepower.
