A couple of Mercedes-Benz stories to kick us off today.

Mercedes-AmG is working on its second all-electric vehicle.

It's a full-size SUV because, of course, it's an SUV.

That's to go alongside the AMG GT, four-door fastback. And so that vehicle, during its design inspiration from the EQX

concept and the Vision AMG concept, using, obviously, an 800-volt architecture, the axial flux

motors, they invested in a long time ago,

up to 1,500 horsepower on the trimotor version. Bonkers, AMG, fast, electric stuff. It should get

all the former petrol heads, very excited. Mercedes-Benz, CLA, which is coming next year, just broke

the EV distance record for travelling the farthest in 24 hours

did this in Italy. And the method they chose was to stop frequently, but for not very long,

because this car can, they didn't give the exact numbers. I think it can charge at 250,

maybe 300 kilowatts, peak charge rate.

And so Mercedes-Benz said they stopped 40 times in 24 hours, but did manage to drive 2,309.6 miles,

that's 3,700 kilometers in a 24-hour period, handily beating the previous record,

which has been held for a very long time by the Porsche Tyicom, but they chose to say, you know, little and often was their charging strategy

to maximize driving time or to minimize charging time. Bentley confirmed they're going to go

all EV in 2026 with their first full electric vehicle. It will be, of course, an SUV. Luxury
