Hello and welcome to the Monday September 25th

2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob

Maower. Today we're doing something a little bit different. We have our first

interview on Tesla Daily. I'm super excited about it. Can't wait for you guys to

hear it. We're going to skip the news and I will cover anything that we missed today.

There was not a lot that came out this weekend, but we'll cover any of that tomorrow on Tuesday, September 26th episode of Tesla Daily.

Friday was a tough day for the stock though.

We closed down 4.20% to $351.9

compared to the NASDAQ up 0.07%. That's a big drop so I did want to cover that

really quickly here. We'll go into more detail probably tomorrow, but I think the biggest

driver of the stock decline on Friday was probably the news about Solar City reaching an agreement, a settlement agreement

with the Justice Department, over claims that Solar City had overstated its cost on

installation which allowed them to receive inflated grant payments.

So the settlement was for $30 million. It was not an admission of guilt. Solar City

is still denying the claims by the Justice Department,

however they did reach the settlement.

My super quick opinion is that I thought the stock was oversold on this news.

So I did take this opportunity finally on Friday to convert some of the stock that I had been talking about into long-term call options.

Again, not advice for anyone else out there. However, I will probably be looking to continue leveraging as we approach model 3 ramp.

Really quick supercharger network update so we added nine locations over the weekend

to bring our total up to 976 supercharging locations.

I will cover the details of those new locations tomorrow.
