Today we're talking about Tesla in China,

Model S single motor variants,

and a little bit more on analyst price targets.

Tesla stock yesterday closed down 0.32% to $373.91

as compared to the NASDAQ down 0.08%.

Supercharger network update back to the front of the show today

and we are at 967 superchargers so we had five more

stations open one in Barcelona Spain three in China and one in Dixon Tennessee

first story I wanted to talk about today is Tesla and China in kind of a broad sense.

There are a couple things we're going to go into detail on and I just, before we do that, I want to remind people

that a lot of what I talk about here is going to be speculation.

The first piece that I wanted to talk about comes from a report from Bloomberg News and

Bloomberg is reporting that China is again discussing a policy change that

would allow foreign automakers to manufacture and produce vehicles and sell vehicles

in China without having to form a joint venture with a domestic company in China as long

as those vehicles are all

electric vehicles. This is really important news for Tesla specifically

obviously because Tesla of course is very very controlling in terms of how they manage their business.

We've seen a ton of vertical integration from Tesla.
