There is a paper that has been released by Harvard.

It's a study.

It's actually Harvard Environmental Law Review.

And what it does is it has legal experts exploring the possibility of charging major oil companies with what they're calling as climate homicide.

What the hell is climate homicide?

Climate homicide because the actions of the oil companies

have contributed to thousands of climate change-related deaths.

Okay, that makes sense.

Although good luck.

Oil companies have been aware of the risks of climate change for decades.

Matter of fact, Shell in 1991 produced an educational film called Climate of Concern, Warning of

Climate Change Risks, including the extreme weather and floods and famines and forest fires,

et cetera, and claim there are climate refugees. the extreme weather and floods and famines and forest fires, etc.

And claim there are climate refugees that are trying to leave.

And the paper says, even with this knowledge,

Shell and a bunch of the other major fossil fuel companies, oil companies,

invest in fossil fuels, lobby against climate protection measure therefore these companies are liable for homicide now just as an aside a company can be

liable for homicide a corporation can be tried for a criminal act.

That does happen.

Now, they don't go to jail, but they pay lots of money,

and it's well beyond just a straight negligence lawsuit,

a civil lawsuit.
