When the first settlers arrived in America, they found a land full of opportunity,

God's country, rife with possibility only limited by their reach and their ambition.

Today we reap the fruits of their labors, but we yearn for more.

This is the land of our earliest pioneers and rebels, and that spirit of independence has been

passed down for hundreds of years to us.

As we see our inheritance squandered and sold off, we are presented with our own kind

of opportunity, to build something new and to add to that great inheritance which we've

been given instead of simply taking from it what we can.

For the New Ivy League, your old Glory Club chapter in New England, I'm here to invite you

to our inaugural banquet this September 13th.

Our states are famous for our autumn foliage and deep, dark winters.

Where better to discuss the autumn of civilization and to make the

connections we need to see us through the coming winter. Join us in the land of
