Summary
I believe that our age isn't so much a number, it's a MINDSET. I haven't talked a lot about this topic on the podcast before, but I'm always looking for and surrounding myself with examples of women who are challenging what society wants us to believe is possible in our 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond--women who are reinventing themselves, starting new businesses, going back to school (or performing hip hop choreography at NBA games...if you've heard me talk about my love for the Golden Grannies)
When I met today's guest last fall I knew I had to have her on the podcast to talk about this exact topic. Helen Fritsch is a 62 year old life-long competitive athlete and flight attendant turned published fitness model, IFBB bodybuilding pro, and podcaster - who is on a mission to prove that AGE is irrelevant when it comes to pursuing our deepest goals, dreams, and desires.
In this episode we talk about:
- How sharing your own personal stories can make a massive impact.
- The power behind understanding that YOU are not too much.
- Why age should never hold you back from going after your goals.
