Hello and welcome to the Thursday August 24th 2017 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob

Maower. We got a full agenda today talking about Model S and X delivery dates, Powerwall,

the Model 3 Battery Pack, and SpaceX. Great day for the stock yesterday finishing up $11.42 to

3502 77. This was up 3.35% comparing to the NASDAQ down 0.30%. percent, their Form 8K with the SEC and related to their recent bond offering.

Not a ton of new information coming out from that other than the fact that Tesla released a

compensation package or incentive plan for global sales and service president John McNeil

and part of the compensation package is tied to third quarter and fourth quarter

model S and X deliveries.

This is slightly unusual for Tesla to be offering an incentive plan

that needs to be publicly filed for someone at this level and to tie it to such a short-term goal.

And we'll talk a little bit more about that later on in the episode.

Supercharger Network update, we are still at 946.

A lot of news to cover today and we're going to start off with the Model S and X delivery

estimates. If you go online to Tesla.com and you try to place an order for a custom built model S or model X,

Tesla will give you a delivery estimate based on when they think they can fulfill that order to you.

Tracking this delivery estimate can sometimes prove beneficial when we

are trying to forecast how many deliveries we will have during a quarter and

it's kind of a good indication of some combination of production and

demand for those vehicles. So the update that we saw to these delivery

estimates yesterday we went from late September estimates for both Model S and Model X to late October as an

estimate for both vehicles.

That may not seem like a huge change.
