It started last night. All right. These guys are fighting for jobs. I've been in it. I know what it's like. It may seem insignificant for you. But look, if you could bet on it, if you could gamble on it, you better believe it's real. Last night was real. It's the start of the season. I can't wait. It's Friday. Like what could be better than that? Talk a little football on a Friday. Well, here's the point that I was making because I can remember where I was when I watched it because I was getting ready to do a show. And it was the first

season game. I think it was the first football game at the LA Coliseum in a long time. And the Dallas Cowboys were there for a preseason game. And remember how good Dak looked. Yeah. And everybody said, oh, listen, you know, just a preseason game, you know, it means nothing. Next thing you know, the guy signing this ungodly contract a few years later. But the point is, that was an opportunity for him on a real stage in a real field with real fans against real players. And he played well.

And I don't know if you you look at what happened last night and you go, well, the lack of talent on the field and guy, the starters that weren't a part of it, whatever you want to say, I do think there's going to be some guys who popped and stood out to coaches last night. That I've got a better shot of making a team this year. Then they would have last year because we had no preseason. No, that's what people always failed to remember about this. They think that it's just about them making their team. They think it's about all those Pittsburgh Steelers backups or Dallas Cowboys that got a lot of burn time last night.

They think it's about them making that team. That's only a small portion of it for remember for a lot of these guys, they didn't have the opportunity to have preseason games last year. And so if you're a young player in this league, who maybe you bounced around on a practice squad or, you know, from team to team, just practicing all year, you don't have any game tape to go off of. And so it's hard then for other teams to look at picking you up and putting you on an active roster until they can see what you can do in a real live game scenario. So it's a great

opportunity for a lot of players out there. You're hard pressed to find another profession when you literally have the workforce cut in half. Come a certain date. You're at the end of the year, man. That's weird. The worst feeling. Well, it's not the worst feeling because if you make the team, you're, you know, feel that bad. But the balls is pretty bad too getting hit in the balls. Yeah, you know, it's funny. And that usually happens about every other day for me with three young kids. There's usually someone giving you a
