well, north of Chicago. Yesterday, we had a big storm and a tree actually blew down next to the chickens,

but everything's okay.

It was kind of scary.

We thought we might actually have a tornado, but no problems.

How's the weather where you are at?

Today's expression is to rile somebody up.

To rile somebody up to rile somebody up R-I-L-E Rile-U-U-U-R-I-L-E, rile-up. That is our verb. It is a phrasal verb. To rile someone up. Don't rile me up. You're going to rile him up.

What this means is make them excited, but in a very negative way.

So actually make them very angry, but not necessarily angry like they hate you, but anyway, excited in a very negative way.

All right.

So by teasing someone, you could rile them up.

They might really hate you, too.

So by talking about politics, you might get riled up.

Maybe you have a strong opinion, and if somebody says something you disagree with, you get

agitated, you get riled up, you kind of get angry but not really at the person. You get pretty

excited and you start talking a lot. This is the idea to get riled up. Check out the dialogue.
