1:04.0	Melissa's story is called Childhood Haunting.
1:08.0	Melissa says,
1:10.0	Hey Nick, I'm going to cut right to the chase.
1:13.1	I grew up in a house that my dad built right before I was born.
1:17.0	The land he built it on was passed down in our family for many generations, but my dad was
1:21.8	the first to build on it. We were told growing up that the land
1:25.8	was an Indian burial site, although I have no proof of this, only hearsay. I lived in that
1:32.0	house until I turned 18 and was old enough to move out. My first
1:36.3	encounter was when I was about five or six. I didn't have a TV in my room so my
1:41.0	parents let me sleep on the living room floor on weekends so I could stay up and watch Disney Channel.
1:47.0	One night I stayed up way later than I was used to and I decided it was time to get some shut-eye.
1:52.0	As soon as I was about to fall asleep,
1:54.7	I felt a hard thump on my head. I can only compare it to someone jokingly hitting someone
1:59.8	on the back of the head. I sat up immediately thinking that it was my dad playing a trick on me, but I was
2:05.8	terrified when I didn't see anyone. I woke my parents up, but they weren't convinced that I was
