Hi everybody, it's Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner

Show.

Well, I guess I'm in kind of a planning mode for next year already.

That's what gardeners do, right there, always thinking about the year ahead, anticipating

their best garden ever, no matter how good or not so good, the most recent garden was.

We are definitely a bunch of optimists.

So we start planning in our heads and get ready for that next garden for the following season.

So last week, if you heard the podcast, I talked about how to create an eco-friendly

or garden, basically kind of big picture thinking of what we could do in our own gardens

and landscapes, that little corner of the world that sort of is under our watch.

What we could do there to have a lighter footprint and to be more environmentally responsible

right where we play in the dirt, right?

So I gave you seven tenants, is what I called them, on simple things that we could do that

really would make a difference, especially when it all adds up, gardener to gardener.

Well, in the spirit of planning and thinking about creating great gardens ahead, now I want

to give you a little bit of a different approach to creating your own garden so that it is

one that can weather any storm.

In fact, that's the working title of this podcast episode is creating a garden to weather

...
