Well, Hyundai has officially begun vehicle production at Metaplant America in Bryan County, Georgia.

The milestone was celebrated on October 3rd, actually, with the car rolling off the production line being the first Ionic 5 vehicle. Highlighting the hard

work of the employees over the last two years to get that ready, the company has previously

indicated that the Ionic 5 would be the first model produced at the site. However, production

commenced earlier than expected, moving up from the initial start date of early 2025. The

Metaplant CEO Oscar Kwan, remarking,

and I quote, we are on track to start production in early 2025, or as my colleague,

Jose Munoz likes to say, if not sooner, end quote. So they managed to do that by three months,

which is amazing. And as I've pointed out previously in the podcast and got

corrected last week by Hyundai's PR, I said that the first vehicles rolling off the production line

would be CCS1 and that, you know, native NAC, stay 3,400 would come early next year. That was wrong.

Not sure I read it. I will have to try and find my source on that. But I was corrected last week by Hyundai.

They said, nope, every car rolling out of Georgia. Unic 5 will be native Nax. So that vehicle,
