All right, I wanna talk to about the truth of Scripture today.

I love the Word of God.

I've been studying the Word of God

for well over 50 years now, coming to faith,

the end of 1971.

There was a stretch in my life when I was a believer for about a year,

where I would read the word two hours every day and memorize scripture.

One hour a day used to memorize 20 verses a day.

And I've written commentaries on Jeremiah, on Job,

working on one in Isaiah now, in a major project that has me digging into the

words so much on so many different levels. It's so rich. It's so amazing. It's so beautiful. It's so

wise. It's so full of life. It's so redemptive. It's so transformative. I don't know why we can't simply let the Word of God speak for itself

the way God intended to communicate with us, not with secrets, not with codes, not with mystery messages.
