Well, hello there, top teachers. I am your solo host today, Bridget Spackman,

0:06.2

and I am here to make your life easier by helping you master your time, organization, and

0:11.4

productivity as a teacher. I'm coming at you with another week in life, and we're going to be

0:18.3

doing a little bit of a life update. And so I am currently still teaching in

0:24.4

person full time. So I have five days a week that I am in school. I teach all day, just like a

0:30.9

normal class day. And I have now 21 students in my class. So we've had a few come in, a few leave since the beginning of the

0:41.4

year, but still a semi-full class for the most part. Blaine currently, and Blaine is my youngest son,

can go five days really soon. We've been hinted towards that that might be happening. So we're

1:19.6

going to continue crossing our fingers and hope that he gets to be back in school five days a week.

1:25.6

Ian is an eighth grade, been in eighth grade all year, and he has

1:30.5

also been hybrid, so meaning he's been doing two days in person and then three days online at home.

1:36.9

So he is going back four days a week very soon. In fact, he only has, when I'm recording this, this is his last week of being hybrid.

1:48.1

And then he will be going back four days a week next week. And again, hopefully,

1:52.2

they're going to increase that to those five days to get them back in person all the way.

1:57.0

The boys are excited. They love school. They enjoy it. Blaine comes home every day and says,

2:01.8

it's the best day ever. So we have had a lot of best days ever, and that just warms my heart.

2:08.6

Now, another thing that I wanted to share with you guys, before we jump into this week in the life

2:14.3

of a teacher, is that my book is officially out. Hallelujah, I can finally say it.

2:22.1

I feel as though the last few times that we've done these week in the life episodes that I have
