0:25.1	It is to draw a blank.
0:30.9	To draw, D-R-A-W, a blank, B-L-A-N-K.
0:37.2	Okay, so to draw, that's easy.
0:40.6	When I was a child, I enjoyed drawing pictures, you know, with a pencil or a pen or a crayon,
0:49.6	creola.
0:50.6	I would draw pictures and I would color.
0:52.9	It was fun.
0:55.0	What about a blank?
0:56.8	A blank means something that is empty.
1:01.4	So in my DDM class, I give everybody a video and an audio and they can watch the video and listen to a conversation,
1:13.3	and then I give them a script, you know, A, B, A, B, A, B, the conversation.
1:18.2	I give them all of the words except for some sections.
1:24.2	Those are blanks.
1:26.9	They're empty, and the student needs to test their listening ability.
1:33.0	So they need to fill in the blanks. They need to write something in the blanks. Okay. So we understand draw.
1:41.5	And now we understand blank.
1:47.9	Draw the verb, blank, the noun meaning empty.
