Hello, everybody. Welcome back to Daily Easy English Expression, the podcast.

So yesterday we were talking about color, and today we're going to talk, well, not about color.

Well, kind of.

That neon color.

Actually, the term I want you to know is reflective strip. And the spelling,

R-E-F-L-E-C-T-I-V-E. Reflective Strip. Now, for many of you, you might think this is a useless expression.

But no, actually, it's not.

Especially if you go out and exercise outside.

It's dangerous.

There are cars that go too fast for me,

whether I'm on my bicycle or if I'm walking,

I sometimes feel a little bit nervous

that maybe the cars can't see me. So when I go out, even in the daytime, I really like

having some sort of reflective strip on my jacket, of course, on my bicycle, on my shoes, on my hat.

And when I drive, I really appreciate when I see a runner or a walker or a cyclist

wearing or using a reflective strip.

It's so nice and it makes me as a driver feel safe.
