Do you sound stressed out? You doing okay?

I'm doing fine. I'm leaving the country tomorrow, taking the kids to immersion Spanish

school. It's kind of a big deal. We've been talking about doing this for years and we

are finally doing it. It's a week in a little bit of town, inland in the middle of Costa

Rica, I think. I don't know. My wife has done all the planning, but we're going to an

immersion school. That's what we're doing.

I'm not a good friend. You've brought that up twice and in my brain I just put that in

the smarter everyday jungle frog video. I don't know. I just lumped it in somewhere, but

that's right. You did mention that you were talking about doing this. You're actually pulling

the trigger. Yeah. You're going to go teach the kids Spanish. How much are they supposed

to be able to pick up and something like that in a week? I don't know. We've had them

in classes here. I kind of poked in today just to see what they were doing and they were

rattling through the colors and numbers and all that kind of stuff. They were doing it

in context with rhymes. They were rhyming things in Spanish, which was interesting.

That works.

Does it? Absolutely. You think about all the little rhythms and rhymes that you remember

like an old song from childhood that you haven't heard in 20 years comes on and there's

just enough of a prompting there to get you to the next rhyme and then you realize you

know the whole thing. That works.

Yeah. We're excited about it. We're hoping that it lays a good foundation and then we'll

double tap that. The idea is we go down and we teach them the importance of having that

extra language by seeing an entire society that only operates in that operating system.
