podcast jason lingering is with me we are going to be talking about big data which is

basically data collection which is to be said that money was king or cash was king.

I think we can safely say now that data is king.

I see so many people online and I reiterate this a couple times in the episode that have no concern that their data is being collected.

The most prevalent attitude I see is that, you know, I haven't done anything wrong.

They can, they can look at my data. I don't care and we really need to start to rethink this.

Data collection is giving groups certain groups in this world, a power that was imagined, maybe 20 years ago or something like that,

certainly around the turn of the century, it was only an inkling, a thought in somebody's mind probably.

It allows people to have a time machine.

They compare into the future and they can predict future events

and what groups of people will do

and you know if they want to stage something

they can predict the outcome to a 90 something percent accuracy rate.

It's been demonstrated.

Simply taking cell phone data has been shown for a long time for over a decade at least

that data that comes from cell phones can allow people to predict the future to place

people within a few meters of where they will be, who they will be with, what they will be doing, that kind of thing.

And the average person again is probably going to think, so what?
