We begin with domestic news this morning, starting with an update on the school shooting

in Georgia.

The father of the shooter at Appalachian High School is under arrest this morning.

Mr. Colin Gray was charged with four counts of

involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of

cruelty to children yesterday. He is facing allegations as well that he purchased the weapon that was

used in the school shooting and gave it to his son as a gift and that was wildly

irresponsible or so says the aunt of the shooter.

She who has not been named says that this 14-year-old boy, Mr. Colt Gray,

was mentally ill and that he had been asking for help from his dad and others for months but she is claiming that the adults

around this boy clearly failed. Although she did not expand on what the diagnosis

was in terms of the mental illness we do know this. Back in May of

2023 the boy had an online persona that he called Lanza. That apparently was a

reference to Adam Lanza who was shooter, at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

When the FBI learned of this and then confronted the boy and his father about it, the

boy, the younger grade denied everything, and the father believed him.

Meanwhile the father, the Mr. Gray Sr. said all the guns in the home were but for hunting,
