Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this brief travel-day episode of The Wright Report, Bryan shares major political fallout from Indiana's state Senate races, where Republican primary voters sent a loud message to GOP leaders: fight back in the redistricting wars or get replaced.

He explains how five of President Trump's seven endorsed candidates won, replacing Republican officials who refused to aggressively redraw congressional maps and allowed Democrats to hold House seats in otherwise deep-red territory. Bryan says the results signal that GOP voters across the country want stronger action at both the state and federal level as the battle over House control intensifies heading into the midterms.

He also previews Secretary of State Marco Rubio's upcoming trip to Italy to meet with Pope Leo as tensions continue over immigration and the war with Iran, and delivers a surprising update from the Middle East: the White House says the offensive phase of the Iran conflict is over, while President Trump has suddenly paused Project Freedom and eased pressure in the Strait of Hormuz to give peace negotiations more room. Bryan signals strong disagreement with that move, arguing Iran only responds to strength and warning against allowing Tehran to control one of the world's most critical waterways.

Plus, Bryan highlights encouraging economic news for the White House, with factory orders and hiring both rising more than expected despite ongoing pressure from fuel prices, and shares an update on his America 250th anniversary Oregon film project, now heading into editing with teaser videos coming soon.

a lot to cover with one big piece of news that I actually want to share with you

now it is on my radar, and that is regarding last night's election results in state

0:59.4

Senate races in Indiana, five of President Trump's seven candidates won big. But what really

1:05.3

makes this, I think, so important and this result so relevant for us, is that the GOP voters in Indiana made it very

1:12.4

clear last night that they want Republicans at both the federal and state levels to fight back

1:17.7

in the redistricting or gerrymandering wars that we've been covering.

1:21.2

These new five state GOP senators in Indiana will replace other GOP officials or Republicans who would not budge on

1:29.3

some redistricting efforts this past fall that the Vice President J.D. Vance and Trump worked on,

1:34.4

which, once it failed, left Democrats with House seats and an otherwise very GOP-dominated state.

1:41.1

And that has got to change, so said the listeners very loudly last night. So the implications

1:46.6

of this, I think, are quite important. More on my analysis and opinion on this tomorrow,

but no doubt about it. GOP officials this morning from D.C. to state capitals are on notice.

The base is not happy. They want to fight back. We'll also cover tomorrow news of the Secretary of
