I've got four briefs for you this morning that are shaping America and the world.

First up, Camola Harris is going to certify the election of Donald Trump today in a joint session of Congress.

We are going to cover that awkward moment, along with some very important updates about

Donald Trump's cabinet picks. Second, and speaking of Mr. Trump and that cabinet will soon have

to deal with a number of ongoing investigations, specifically the attacks in Las Vegas,

and of course in New Orleans. I've got some updates on both, including a new angle for the CIA.

Third, the White House is secretly warning Capitol Hill this morning that China can turn off

our electricity, our water, and other infrastructure folks at any time of Beijing's choosing.

That alarming assessment coming up. Fourth, we are going to cover some pretty scary rumors that are being shared lately on social media.

In fact, they've caught your eye based on what you've told me on Substack.

These rumors involve, well, there's one that's an alleged team of Al-Qaeda operatives inside of this country right now, of thousand of them.

Also, there's an allegation of that explosion in Las Vegas last week.

That is actually connected to the drone sightings on the East Coast last month.

So all very interesting. We are going to unpack it all.

But before we do, let's get to that top story of the morning.

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to face a pretty awkward moment in the next few

hours. She is going to oversee a joint session of Congress to count and certify the

electoral college votes. That, of course, will then pave the way for Donald Trump to

become our next president. As the Washington Post noted, Ms. Harris is not going to be the first

to have to certify the victory of a former rival.
